Introduction
Network Rail owns, operates and develops Britain’s railway infrastructure.
That’s 20,000 miles of track, 30,000 bridges, tunnels and viaducts and the thousands of signals, level crossings and stations. They manage 20 of the UK’s largest railway stations while all the others, over 2,500, are managed by the country’s train operating companies.
In the case of the NTR projects, the rails are main focus. Our expertise in the refurbishment, repair and recycling of metal cutting tools, we are a kay part of the manufacture of rails.
Rigorous testing in the early stages of development meant that we were sure of the strength and longevity of the components we were producing. Our attention to detail at the Research & Development stage meant we could design out any issues that came up.
Finally after manufacture, we were able to QC all components and ensure they were well within expected tolerances. Getting it right was everything to us.
