As a student from University of Northumbria, Emily graduated in 2019 with a Diploma of Higher Education in Sport Development BA (Hons). Her time at uni allowed to her to fully embrace all the sports she was passionate about, while taking time to coach and teach them too. Unfortunately, COVID halted much of the sport in the UK and made Emily realise that being on furlough was not for her.
Having left sport behind as a career, Emily joined NTR Ltd bringing with her love of timings, schedules and planning – all critical in the world of sport. With her eye for detail and interest in quality and process, Emily soon understood the dynamics of the NTR workshop. The production flow and knowing how to manipulate the schedule to ensure all customers were covered for urgent repairs, really gave Emily a buzz. Developing relationships in the workshops from the welders through to the QC team, Emily has made the NTR factory her home!
As part of her personal growth plan, Emily studied alongside her job at NTR Ltd to gain a Distinction in Business Administration – level 3.
Emily loves watching and playing sports and is a real fanatic. Whether it’s martial arts training, swimming, cross-fit or water polo, Emily has tried it all.
With a keen love of travel, Emily has recently returned from a trip to Reykjavik, Iceland where she fell in love with the stark landscapes, the hot springs and local restaurants. We have to wonder where next on her wishlist?
